Brokerprint is an online printing portal, offering to establish contact between Printers and Customers who needs printing of any kind, from business cards to brochures and posters.
The idea is that a printer that have high quality and low prizes on one product, isn’t necessarilly the right supplier on another product. By using Brokerprint, the customer will be sure to get the best price, no matter which product they want. This is due to the many printers on Brokerprint, with different specialities. As a standard goal Brokerprint stride to allways have a minimum of eight to ten suppliers on each product offered on the page. This insures that the customer will allways get a minimum amount of offers to choose from.
So the concept, or purpose, of Brokerprint is to unsure it’s users the best offer on printing, every time. Quality printing at the best price, every time.
Procedure for the Costumer
The procedure is fairly simple. The potential Customer uses a drop down menu on the webpage, to indicate which product he or she whishes to ask for prices on, including the most important details of the specific product; such as quantity, colors and paper quality. Some of the attributes, such as quantity, are the same for all products, while some are individual for the different products. A text area for comments is also available in this part of the order process if necessary.
After the potential Customer has chosen a product from the drop down menu, he or she will first and foremost select a date for when the printers must have sent an offer - and another date for when the product must be delivered to the Costumer.
If the Costumer has not used the system before, he or she will then be sent to the registration page, and is asked to type in the necessary information such as name, address, e-mail and phone number. At this point the Costumer will also have to create a password, which is used along with the e-mail to login online. When this is done the Costumer goes on to their personal account page, where the inquiry that was just made can be viewed and if necessary commented. This is also the page on which the Customer can view the offers for each inquiry, and later on view all inquiries created hitherto. It is possible for the Costumer to ask questions in a private message concerning each offer, and thereby communicate directly with each printer through the system, without anyone but the Costumer and that specific printer being able to see the communication. Finally the Costumer can of course accept an offer.
Procedure for the Printer
When a Costumer puts an inquiry on Brokerprint, the relevant Printers will receive an auto sent email, giving a short description of the inquiry, including any comments left by the Costumer. If the printer whishes to see all information on the inquiry, it is possible to login to the system, and see the information. Here it will also be possible for the printer to ask questions regarding the inquiry, and of course also make and offer. Should the Customer have questions or comments the printer can read and answer these in the private message area, that is available for each offer that is given.
